Vanessa Angel (born as Vanessa Mazal; February 1, 1973) is an American actress and model who has a net worth of $500 thousand. Born in Los Angeles, California, Vanessa Angel was meant to be a dancer and choreographer when she first started modeling. Her parents divorced and her father remarried shortly after his wife’s death. It was during her childhood that she would change her last name from Mazal to the more familiar Angel.
She began acting at the age of nine and ended up getting bit parts on such television shows as “Happy Days”, “Fantasy Island”, and “The Love Boat”. Career of Vanessa Angel
After appearing in “The Last Dragon”, Angel began pursuing her own singing career. She released the album entitled Vanessa, and worked with such music legends as Prince and Sly Stone. After that project was put on hold due to a dispute with Prince, she went on to release another album entitled Love Is Contagious which featured two top 20 singles, “Heaven Knows” and “Love Is Contagious”.

Angel was featured on the single, “I’ll Be There for You”, by St. Lunatics which went gold in 2004. She also appeared in music videos with R&B artist Case. In 2004, she began hosting her own television show called The Vanessa Show which she would host for two years. Her latest venture has been a series of one-woman shows entitled “Takes One to Know One” in which she performs stand up in front of an audience, using her life as source material. The show premiered in 2010 in the Netherlands and was well received.
She is currently writing a book based on her experiences as an actress and model, entitled From Rags to Bitches.

Angel met professional wrestler, Chris Adams in 1995 and they were married for four years. She also briefly dated former American Idol contestant Corey Clark as well as R&B singer Usher.
Now she is dating Dutch rocker, Waylon after her divorce from Adams was finalized in 2011.
Vanessa Angel graduated from Grant High School in Van Nuys, California before attending the University of La Verne and finally transferring to Los Angeles City College where she studied communications and theater arts. Following her studies, she worked as a dancer aboard cruise ships and performed nightly shows at various venues across the country including Las Vegas and Atlantic City among others for several years before beginning her career as an actress.

Vanessa Angel began her modeling career in 1978 at the age of 5 when she appeared in a television commercial for Gaines Burgers. Between 1979 and 1983, she landed parts in over thirty television shows including “The Love Boat”, “Faerie Tale Theatre” and “Happy Days”. She also made appearances in movies such as Just One of the Guys (1985) in which she starred alongside actor Joyce Hyser.
She was named one of the Ten Most Beautiful Girls by photographer Richard Avedon when she was just 15 years old. That same year, 1980, she posed nude for Playboy magazine’s December issue.
