He attended school at the American School of Milan and then later graduated from the University of Birmingham with a bachelor’s degree in politics and economics. In 2000 he married Adele Richens whom he had met when they were both students at the University of Birmingham.
Career:
In 2001, Simon and Adele returned to New York City after they both received jobs there. Soon after they relocated on a whim to London, where he began working as an investment banker with HSBC on their European M&A team. In 2004 Konecki joined the private equity firm Doughty Hanson & Co., where he worked as a Managing Director.
