Nick Young was born in Los Angeles, California, on June 1, 1985. He was taken to his parents. Also, Mae Young. Nick is from the All-American race. His siblings were Charles Young Jr. and John Young. The Washington Wizards selected young as the 16th overall pick in the NBA draft in 2007. He played his first game in the NBA on December 15, 2007, against the Kings. Young scored a career-high 43 points against the Kings in 2011. The Los Angeles Clippers made a trade with Nick on March 15, 2012. He helped the Clippers get their first playoff birth in six years against the Oklahoma City Thunder by showing his fantastic form. Young signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia 76ers in July of 2012. He joined the Los Angeles Lakers on July 11, 2013, after a year with the Philadelphia 76ers.
