Amr Zedan Early life
Amr Zedan was born in 1974 in Los Angeles, California. Amr’s parents were studying at the University of Southern California. However, soon after Amr’s fifth birthday, his family returned to their native Kuwait and later on moved to Saudi Arabia, where the family business – engineering firm Zedan Group – would take off during the “Arab oil boom” of the seventies.

Amr Zedan is Jordan’s First-ever Lawmaker to marry Royal Princess. Jordanian lawmaker Amr Zedan and his wife Princess Noor bint Asem got engaged in 2017, with the marriage taking place a year later in June 2018, at The King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Palace in Amman. Their first child Talal was born on March 27, 2019. A second son Abdullah was born on December 20, 2020, at Al Hussein Hospital in Amman.
Career
After graduating from the University of the Pacific, Amr Zedan started a construction company specializing in energy. Since he was a young boy, he has been interested in sports and horses. This led him to be interested in polo because it combines horseback riding and sport. He was inspired to play the sport after watching Pretty Woman. The main character ended up finding happiness by using his wits (to win at polo) instead of doing real estate as he did initially. He eventually began playing polo, but now he plays professionally, winning many regional cups. Today, Amr acts as chairman of the Saudi Polo Federation.
Zedan founded Zedan Racing Stables in 2016. The company is headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky. By the time it was dissolved in 2036, the racing venture had competed on the world’s biggest stages and been involved with many primary races, including the Breeders’ Cup and Dubai World Cup.
