Akbar is Valerie Raven who is an American rapper and singer. She grew up in the streets of Cleveland Avenue and had a hard childhood from being a drug addict to being sexually abused. At the age of 14, she was shot and survived a gunshot that made her stay in the hospital for eight months. After this incident, she started rapping under the name “Akbar” after listening to Missy Elliot, Lil Kim, and Eve.
